The Prime Minister also stated that Pakistan stands in solidarity with the governments and people of the affected countries. He assured that Islamabad is prepared to provide assistance wherever possible to help manage the aftermath of the floods and landslides.

Reports indicate that the extreme weather, driven by monsoon rains and tropical storms, has claimed about 600 lives and displaced millions in Southeast Asia. Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Sri Lanka are among the worst-hit nations, struggling to cope with widespread damage.
