Published on: June 26, 2025 2:25 PM

ISLAMABAD – Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, has expressed deep gratitude to the people and government of Pakistan for standing firmly with Iran during recent Israeli aggression.

In a statement, the ambassador said the Iranian nation will never forget the brotherly support extended by the Pakistani people. He praised Pakistan’s firm, respectful, and dignified stance against the unjust aggression imposed by the Zionist regime.

He particularly thanked President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, as well as members of the National Assembly and Senate, religious scholars, political parties, and media organizations for showing courageous and principled solidarity with Iran.

Furthermore, the ambassador acknowledged the role of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry for actively supporting Iran at international forums like the United Nations, Security Council, and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). He said this diplomatic backing reflected Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and justice.

Reza Amiri Moghaddam emphasized that Iran and Pakistan have always stood shoulder-to-shoulder throughout history, united in brotherhood and mutual cooperation. He described the recent Iranian victory as a symbol of pride and resilience for the entire Muslim Ummah.

Lastly, he stated that this triumph would forever remain a powerful reminder of courage, faith, and the triumph of truth over tyranny, etched in the collective memory of the Islamic world.
