NADRA goes digital with mobile booking

Published on: July 28, 2025 1:59 PM

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a new digital service to make citizen interactions smoother. Soon, users of the Pak ID mobile app will be able to book appointments directly at NADRA service centers. This feature will initially be available at 43 NADRA registration centers across Pakistan as part of Phase One of the rollout.

In addition to appointment booking, the Pak ID app allows users both within Pakistan and abroad to easily pay fees for obtaining or renewing their NADRA-issued identity documents. This update aims to reduce waiting times and minimize in-person queues at service centers, improving the overall customer experience.

NADRA officials explained that this digital service will help prioritize appointments and streamline operations at centers, ensuring quicker and more organized processing of applications. The service is especially helpful for busy citizens who can now plan visits conveniently without long waiting periods.

The move reflects NADRA’s commitment to embracing technology and innovation in public service delivery. Citizens are encouraged to download or update the Pak ID app ahead of the official launch to benefit from these new features as soon as they go live.

With continuous enhancements, NADRA is focused on providing efficient, accessible, and user-friendly services, further simplifying the process of acquiring essential identity documents for all Pakistanis.
