China condemns Israeli strikes on Qatar, warns of rising tensions

Published on: September 10, 2025 2:57 PM

China’s foreign ministry strongly condemned the recent Israeli strikes on Doha, Qatar. They called the attacks a violation of Qatar’s territorial sovereignty. Spokesperson Lin Jian spoke at a regular press conference, expressing China’s firm opposition. He said the strikes threaten peace and stability in the region. China urged all parties to respect international law and sovereignty.

Moreover, Lin Jian expressed deep concern about the possible escalation of conflict. He warned that continued violence could worsen tensions across the Middle East. China urged restraint and dialogue to prevent further instability. The ministry called on Israel to stop actions that violate other nations’ borders. Such measures, it said, are essential for regional peace.

China’s statement comes amid rising tensions in the region after Israel targeted Hamas leaders in Qatar. These strikes have drawn international attention and sparked criticism. China’s condemnation reflects its stance on respecting national sovereignty and opposing military aggression. The foreign ministry’s clear message is aimed at calming the situation. China is closely watching developments in Doha and the wider Middle East.

In addition, China called for all sides to avoid further conflict and seek peaceful solutions. The ministry emphasized diplomatic efforts over military action. China continues to promote dialogue between conflicting parties. It stressed that peaceful negotiation is the best path forward. The country hopes for stability and cooperation in the region.

Finally, the situation remains tense after the Israeli strikes on Qatar. China’s warning highlights global concerns over the conflict’s expansion. The international community watches closely as events unfold. Many hope for de-escalation and respect for sovereignty. China’s voice adds to calls for peace and restraint.
