Pakistan pays tribute to 12 soldiers martyred in Afghan border clash

Pakistan held funeral prayers for 12 brave soldiers who lost their lives defending the country against Afghan aggression. The ceremony took place at Chaklala Garrison in Rawalpindi. Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir led the tribute. A large number of officials and citizens attended the solemn event.

Federal ministers, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor, senior military leaders, and members of the public joined the funeral. Their presence reflected national unity and respect for the martyrs. The atmosphere was filled with grief, pride, and prayers for the fallen soldiers.

Defence Minister Khawaja Asif praised the martyred soldiers for their courage and sacrifice. He said they stood firm against Afghan Taliban attacks. He also stated that the soldiers fought against India-backed terrorists. Their actions, he added, showed their deep loyalty to the country.

Khawaja Asif assured that the armed forces are ready to respond to any aggression. He said the military will defeat any plot or attack. The minister emphasized that Pakistan will never compromise its sovereignty. The entire nation stands behind its armed forces.

Tensions remain high along the Pak-Afghan border. Despite calls for peace, Pakistan continues to face security challenges. However, the sacrifice of these soldiers has strengthened national resolve. The country remains united in honouring its defenders and protecting its borders.
