Security Forces Kill Four Terrorists in North Waziristan Attack

Published on: October 17, 2025 12:20 PM

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Security forces have killed four terrorists while successfully repelling an attack in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, official sources confirmed on Friday.

According to reports, a suicide bomber rammed a vehicle packed with explosives into the wall of a security camp. Moments later, three armed terrorists tried to storm the facility but were swiftly gunned down by alert troops. The operation ended without any casualties among security personnel.

Over the past two days, security forces have neutralised 88 militants in various operations across the region, marking a significant success in the ongoing counterterrorism drive.

Officials said the latest actions are part of a broader strategy under the National Action Plan, aimed at eliminating terrorism and restoring lasting peace in the country.

Sources added that Pakistan’s military and law enforcement agencies remain resolute in their mission to root out militancy and will continue operations “until the last terrorist is eliminated.”
