Government sets Nov 15 deadline for hajj 2026 installment

Published on: October 31, 2025 4:53 PM

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that applicants under the Government Hajj Scheme 2026 must deposit their second installment between November 3 and November 15, 2025. This step is essential for confirming their eligibility for the sacred pilgrimage next year. The ministry urged all registered pilgrims to complete their payments within the specified period to avoid cancellation of their applications.

This installment marks a crucial stage in the government’s preparation process for facilitating Pakistani pilgrims for Hajj 2026. Officials emphasized that timely payments will help ensure smooth coordination with Saudi authorities for accommodation, transport, and other essential arrangements. Moreover, completing the second installment enables the ministry to finalize flight schedules and group allocations well in advance, improving overall management.

Applicants who fail to submit their payments by the deadline risk losing their chance to perform Hajj under the government scheme. Their applications will be cancelled automatically, and their first installment will be refunded directly to their respective bank accounts. The ministry has clarified that no extension in the payment deadline will be entertained to maintain transparency and efficiency in the process.

The government’s Hajj Scheme aims to provide affordable and well-organized pilgrimage services to thousands of Pakistanis each year. By introducing phased installment payments, the ministry hopes to reduce financial pressure on applicants while ensuring steady progress in operational planning. Officials have also reminded citizens to verify all details through authorized banks and official ministry channels before making deposits.

Furthermore, the ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a comfortable, secure, and spiritually fulfilling journey for all pilgrims in 2026. Through early payment collection and efficient coordination, the government aims to enhance the overall Hajj experience. Applicants are therefore advised to act promptly and meet the November 15 deadline to confirm their participation in next year’s sacred journey.
