Veteran PPP leader Lal Muhammad Khan passes away
MALAKAND – Senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader and former federal minister Lal Muhammad Khan passed away after a prolonged illness, party officials confirmed on Saturday.

Lal Muhammad Khan was a seasoned politician who had served multiple terms as a member of both the National and Provincial Assemblies and also held a seat in the Senate during the tenure of former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. Known for his unwavering loyalty, he had been associated with the PPP since the early days of his political journey.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi expressed profound grief over the veteran leader’s demise, praying for eternal peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear the loss.

Governor Kundi lauded Lal Muhammad Khan’s lifelong dedication to public service and people-centered politics, describing him as a “pillar of the PPP” whose contributions will always be remembered across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan.
