Omani’s CG, Lanjar agree to boost bilateral ties

Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar met with the Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman, Mr. Sami Abdullah Salim Al-Khanjari, at his office. Additional Chief Secretary Home, Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Memon, was also present on the occasion. During the meeting, both sides agreed to further strengthen and enhance bilateral relations between the Government of Sindh and the Omani Consulate. The participants expressed their commitment to developing a joint strategy on national security, mutual cooperation, and investment opportunities. Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hasan Lanjar welcomed the Oman Consul General and stated that the Sindh Government wholeheartedly welcomes Oman investment projects. “We are committed to providing the Oman business community with a safe, stable, and transparent business environment in the province,” he added. The Consul General of Oman, Mr. Sami Abdullah Salim Al-Khanjari, while expressing his views, said that Oman seeks to further strengthen collaboration with the Sindh Government. “The Government of Oman will work with provincial authorities to explore new avenues of partnership. On behalf of His Majesty the Sultan of Oman, I convey a message of lasting partnership with Sindh, and we look forward to new opportunities for mutual cooperation,” he said. The meeting also included detailed discussions on internal security, the protection of foreign investors, and the promotion of consular services. Furthermore, both sides deliberated on the possibilities of cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, and tourism. The Sindh Home Minister reaffirmed the Government of Sindh’s commitment to continue taking comprehensive measures for peace, stability, and business promotion to open new doors of development and prosperity across the province.
