NEW YORK – Blake Lively has scored a legal victory in her ongoing lawsuit against Justin Baldoni, following the dismissal of a defamation suit filed against her by Jed Wallace and his PR firm, Street Relations Inc. The ruling comes ahead of Lively’s trial scheduled for March 2026.
The defamation suit was linked to Lively’s own complaint last December regarding Baldoni’s involvement in the production and promotion of It Ends with Us. Sources close to Baldoni told the Daily Mail that both cases were dismissed due to jurisdiction issues.

A spokesperson for Lively confirmed to TMZ that the dismissal allows her legal team to focus on building a stronger case for the upcoming trial. “All of the retaliatory lawsuits filed against Blake Lively by Justin Baldoni, Wayfarer Studios, and their crisis communications and digital teams have been dismissed,” the representative said.
The case against Wallace was specifically thrown out because he is based in Austin, Texas, which meant New York courts lacked personal jurisdiction over him. This dismissal removes one of the hurdles in Lively’s broader legal battle while keeping her claims against Baldoni on track for the March trial.

Legal analysts say the ruling strengthens Lively’s position by narrowing the scope of opposition in the defamation disputes, allowing her team to concentrate on the central issues of the lawsuit.
