Hajj 2026: Last chance today to pay second installment

Published on: November 15, 2025 4:24 PM

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that all nominated banks will remain open today to receive the second installment for Hajj 2026. Saturday marks the final day for intending pilgrims to pay their dues. Applicants are advised to collect computerised receipts to avoid delays in their applications.

The Hajj scheme offers Pakistani citizens guidance and packages for their journey, including 38-42 day and shorter 20-25 day options. Costs are expected between Rs1.15 million and Rs1.25 million. The first phase began in early August, receiving over 70,000 submissions.

The second phase started on August 11, 2025. Applicants are instructed to retain their passports until at least November 26. Payments are processed on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure fairness.

Authorities emphasize that holding the computerised receipt is essential. Without it, pilgrims may face processing delays or other inconveniences. The ministry urges all nominees to complete the payment promptly.

With the installment paid, successful applicants will be eligible to start their sacred Hajj journey next year. The government continues to provide full support to ensure a smooth and organized pilgrimage.
