Ayaz Sadiq, Ali Larijani discuss regional peace and cooperation

Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq met Iranian Supreme National Security Council Secretary Dr. Ali Larijani. They discussed bilateral relations, regional security, parliamentary cooperation, and economic partnership. Both leaders emphasized strengthening ties and fostering mutual trust between Pakistan and Iran.

Ayaz Sadiq highlighted the need to expand regional peace and collaboration. He described Pakistan and Iran as brotherly neighbors and praised recent leadership contacts as milestones in bilateral relations. Both leaders agreed to enhance parliamentary and public-level engagement.

The meeting stressed unity and coordination among Muslim countries. Sadiq thanked Iran for its diplomatic and moral support during Pakistan’s conflict with India. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to peaceful and sustainable solutions in regional and global disputes.

Sadiq also pointed out Afghanistan’s territory is being used for terrorism. He said Pakistan is determined to eliminate terrorism completely. He condemned Israeli attacks on Iran, calling them a shared threat with Pakistan.

Dr. Ali Larijani appreciated Sadiq’s comments and praised Pakistani public support during Israeli aggression. He welcomed the Pakistan-Saudi defense agreement and highlighted broad opportunities for cooperation in multiple sectors. Both leaders agreed to strengthen mutual development and people-to-people bonds.
