Uzma Khan allowed to meet Imran Khan

Published on: December 2, 2025 11:30 PM

PTI founder Imran Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan, received permission on Tuesday to meet him inside Adiala jail, ahead of the party’s planned protest outside the Islamabad High Court and jail.

Authorities confirmed that Uzma will be allowed to enter the jail premises, following consultations with her other sister Aleema Khan regarding the arrangements for the visit and security measures.

Meanwhile, Aleema Khan and additional sisters gathered at Factory Naka, where police had already set up heavy barricades, including anti-riot barriers, to prevent protesters from approaching Adiala jail.

Despite the blockade, Aleema and her sisters attempted to proceed on foot towards the jail, but police stopped them at Gorakhpur checkpoint, maintaining strict control over movement in the area.

The security deployment included women police personnel, and law enforcement emphasized that any violation of restrictions could result in immediate action, as authorities sought to maintain order around the sensitive site.

Uzma’s visit comes amid escalating political tension, as PTI supporters plan demonstrations, making this meeting a closely watched event in the ongoing developments surrounding the former prime minister’s incarceration.
