Queen Camilla confidence puts Kate under spotlight

Published on: December 3, 2025 11:45 PM

A new comparison between Queen Camilla and Princess Kate has sparked discussion inside royal circles, especially after a body language expert labelled Camilla as the more confident of the two. Both women play major roles within King Charles’ monarchy, but their public images continue to evolve in different ways.

Expert Darren Stanton studied years of gestures, postures and public behaviour from the two royals, ultimately concluding that Camilla displays remarkable self-assurance during engagements. He said Camilla never appears nervous or hesitant in public, which helps her project control in every situation she faces.

Furthermore, Stanton noted that Camilla has risen to every duty given to her as Queen Consort, and she rarely looks intimidated when stepping into highly visible roles. This level of confidence, he explained, signals a quiet power that strengthens her presence within the royal family.

Meanwhile, Princess Kate earned praise for her “dominance” and work ethic, with comparisons drawn to Princess Anne, who is often called the hardest-working royal. Stanton believes Kate feels she earned her place in the monarchy, but Camilla’s growing influence presents a new challenge for her future role as queen.

Additionally, the analysis pointed out that Camilla gained significant status through commitment and sincerity during difficult moments for the royal household. Even in her late 70s, she continues to support King Charles personally and professionally, which has helped reinforce her position over time.
