John Cena will take on Gunther in his highly anticipated retirement match at WWE’s Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13, marking the final bout of his storied career.

Gunther earned the opportunity by defeating LA Knight in the final of the ‘Last Time is Now’ tournament on the December 5 episode of SmackDown, solidifying his role as Cena’s last opponent.

Widely regarded as one of WWE’s top pure wrestlers, Gunther has a history of ending legends’ careers on a high note, previously defeating Goldberg in his final match at the same event in July.
