PM Shehbaz, UK Minister strengthen ties in Islamabad

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met UK Minister Baroness Jenny Chapman in Islamabad to discuss matters of mutual interest. They focused on development cooperation, climate resilience, economic engagement, and regional issues, reaffirming their commitment to deeper collaboration.

During the meeting, PM Shehbaz highlighted the longstanding relationship between Pakistan and the UK, emphasizing shared history, strong institutional linkages, and mutual respect. He noted that these ties provide a solid foundation for continued partnership.

The Prime Minister also acknowledged the important role of the British Pakistani diaspora, describing it as a vital bridge fostering stronger connections between the two countries.
