National airline expands UK flight operations

Published on: December 25, 2025 5:45 PM

Karachi: Pakistan’s national airline will expand its flight operations to the United Kingdom starting March 2026. The airline received four weekly slots at London Airport. This expansion marks a significant step in strengthening international connectivity.

The airline had initially allocated these slots to Turkish Airlines due to operational restrictions. However, authorities allowed the slots to return to the national carrier. Consequently, the airline now has confirmed permission to operate flights directly from Pakistan to London.

Sources explained that handing slots to Turkish Airlines was a temporary arrangement to maintain regulatory compliance. Now, the airline has officially informed Heathrow Airport about its plans. This ensures a smooth start for the London flights.

The airline expects the new flights to boost passenger traffic and enhance trade ties. It aims to provide convenient schedules for business travelers and tourists alike. Furthermore, the airline is focusing on improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
