Abida Parveen alive, family denies death rumors

Renowned Sufi singer Abida Parveen is alive and in good health, her family confirmed on Friday. Reports circulating on social media claiming her death were false and caused widespread confusion among fans. Abida Parveen’s daughter clarified the situation, stating that her mother is safe and well. “The news of my mother’s passing is completely untrue,” she said, urging the public not to believe or share unverified information.

The confusion arose after the death of another woman named Abida Parveen in Lahore’s Dilgaran Chowk area. Social media users mistakenly associated this incident with the legendary singer, leading to the false reports.
