Ishaq Dar holds key talks with Thai minister

Davos: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar met Thailand’s Foreign Minister Sihasak Phuangketkeow on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum. The meeting focused on reviewing and strengthening Pakistan-Thailand bilateral relations.

According to the Foreign Office, both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to boosting cooperation across key sectors, including economy, trade, investment, and agriculture. They discussed ways to enhance collaboration and explore new opportunities for mutual growth.

The leaders also exchanged views on regional and global issues of shared interest. They emphasized the importance of maintaining strong diplomatic engagement to promote stability, trade, and sustainable development in the region.

A key highlight of the meeting was the celebration of 75 years of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Thailand. Both sides congratulated each other on this milestone and pledged to further strengthen political, economic, and cultural ties.
