
Pakistan and seven other Muslim countries have strongly condemned Israel’s latest policies in the West Bank, warning that these measures aim to impose “a new legal and administrative reality” over occupied Palestinian territory.
In a joint statement, the foreign ministers of Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar described the actions as accelerating illegal annexation and displacing Palestinian families, emphasizing Israel holds no sovereignty in these areas.

The statement followed Israel’s security cabinet approval of policies allowing settlers to purchase land in the West Bank and granting authorities increased enforcement powers over Palestinians, effectively undermining decades-old land regulations.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas criticized these measures as illegal and tantamount to de facto annexation, while the eight Muslim nations stressed that such expansionist policies would escalate violence and destabilize regional peace efforts.

The ministers highlighted that Israel’s actions violate international law, UN Security Council Resolution 2334, and the 2024 International Court of Justice advisory opinion, affirming that Palestinian self-determination and a two-state solution remain essential for lasting peace.
They urged the global community to take urgent steps to halt Israel’s escalation, reiterating that protecting Palestinian rights and statehood is crucial for justice, regional stability, and the long-term peace process in the Middle East.
