Shahid Kapoor’s O Romeo nears Rs 50 crore mark

Shahid Kapoor’s latest film O Romeo continues to perform strongly at the box office, maintaining steady collections in its first week. The film, which reunited Shahid with director Vishal Bhardwaj after nine years, has now earned a total of Rs 43.9 crore in India.

Released on February 13, O Romeo saw its sixth-day earnings reach nearly Rs 3.5 crore, pushing overall revenue to Rs 43.85 crore. On the seventh day, it added approximately Rs 0.05 crore, gradually moving closer to the Rs 50 crore milestone. Despite competition from Tu Yaa Main in theatres, the film has held audience interest and continues to draw viewers.

Interestingly, the movie has already surpassed the lifetime box office collections of Shahid Kapoor’s previous release Deva even overtaken the lifetime earnings of Kaminey Bollywood thriller”], another popular Shahid project.

O Romeo features a stellar ensemble cast alongside Shahid Kapoor, including Triptii Dimri, Vikrant Massey, Tamannaah Bhatia, Avinash Tiwary, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Nana Patekar in notable roles. The movie has received praise for its strong performances, music, and Bhardwaj’s distinctive direction.

With steady collections and positive word-of-mouth, O Romeo is poised to cross the Rs 50 crore mark in the coming days, solidifying its position as one of Shahid Kapoor’s recent commercial successes.
