China praises Pakistan’s Middle East mediation

China’s ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, praised Islamabad’s mediation role in Middle East tensions. He said Pakistan’s diplomacy helps stabilize the region and prevent further conflict. The statement highlights Pakistan’s growing influence in international peace efforts.

Speaking at a press conference in Islamabad, Jiang emphasized that China favors dialogue over force to resolve disputes. He stressed that diplomatic solutions are essential for lasting peace in conflict-hit areas. He also noted that power politics can worsen regional tensions.

The ambassador highlighted China’s opposition to unilateral actions and coercive strategies in the Middle East. He said such approaches undermine international stability and violate norms of peaceful conflict resolution. Jiang reiterated China’s commitment to supporting dialogue-based solutions.

Jiang also stated that attacks on non-military targets must be avoided, and maritime security should not be compromised. He affirmed that China’s mediation efforts would continue until the conflict reaches a resolution. The statement underscores China’s proactive diplomacy alongside Pakistan’s mediation role.

Finally, the ambassador criticized attempts to subordinate international law to domestic policies. He emphasized adherence to global legal standards as key to lasting peace. Jiang’s comments reinforce Pakistan’s and China’s collaborative efforts to promote stability and security in the region.
