Gold prices decline by Rs 700 per tola

The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Saturday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 700 to settle at Rs 496,962 compared to Rs 497,662 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 600 to Rs 426,064 from Rs 426,664, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 550 to Rs 390,572 against Rs 391,122. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $7 to $4,746 per ounce from $4,753. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 50 to Rs 8,064 from Rs 8,014, while the price of 10 grams of silver also increased by Rs 43 to Rs 6,913 from Rs 6,870. The price of silver in the international market increased by $0.50 to $75.80 per ounce from $75.30.
