Gold prices increase by Rs 4,500 per tola

The prices of gold increased in the local market on Saturday, with 24 karat gold per tola rising by Rs 4,500 to settle at Rs 506,062 compared to Rs 501,562 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold increased by Rs 3,858 to Rs 433,866 from Rs 430,008, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 3,536 to Rs 397,724 against Rs 394,188. In the international market, the price of gold increased by $45 to $4,837 per ounce from $4,792. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs 118 to Rs 8,562 from Rs 8,444, while the price of 10 grams of silver also increased by Rs 101 to Rs 7,340 from Rs 7,239. The price of silver in the international market increased by $1.18 to $80.78 per ounce from $79.60.
