Iran rejects talks under threats amid rising tensions with the United States, officials said. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated that negotiations cannot take place under pressure. Iran rejects talks under threats amid rising US tensions, making its position clear.

Ghalibaf said former US President Donald Trump is trying to turn negotiations into a “surrender table.” He warned that such an approach would fail. Therefore, Iran insists on fair and respectful dialogue between both sides.

Meanwhile, tensions increased after a US action against an Iranian vessel. In response, Iran linked future talks to the removal of the US naval blockade. Officials stressed that lifting restrictions is essential before any negotiations can move forward.

In addition, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei rejected US proposals. He described them as unrealistic and not serious. Furthermore, he said transferring Iran’s nuclear materials abroad is not part of any discussions.
