Nawaz hails PM, military leadership role in Pakistan

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan’s green passport is regaining its respect globally. He credited the country’s leadership and institutions for improving Pakistan’s international image. The remarks came during a high-level party meeting in Islamabad.

Nawaz Sharif said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership is driving national progress. He also praised Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar for his support. Moreover, he highlighted Field Marshal Asim Munir’s role in strengthening the country’s standing.

He said Pakistan’s diplomatic position has improved significantly in recent years. According to him, the country is once again gaining recognition on global platforms. Additionally, he said this reflects coordinated efforts at multiple levels of leadership.

The PML-N president also highlighted development work in Gilgit-Baltistan. He said major infrastructure projects worth billions have improved connectivity in the region. Furthermore, he stressed that such projects represent public rights and development.

Meanwhile, Nawaz Sharif criticized governance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He questioned development progress over the past 15 years in the province. However, he said federal and Punjab governments are actively pursuing development initiatives.
