According to police officials, unidentified assailants riding a motorcycle threw a hand grenade on a road in the Killi Pindrani area before fleeing the scene. The explosion injured four civilians who were passing through the area at the time of the attack.

Emergency response teams quickly arrived at the location and shifted the injured to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Kalat. Hospital sources confirmed that the victims sustained serious injuries and were receiving medical treatment.

Following the incident, security forces and police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to track down the attackers. Authorities said they are investigating the nature of the explosion and gathering evidence from the scene.

Law enforcement officials have not yet identified the motive behind the attack, and no group has claimed responsibility. However, security operations have been intensified in and around the area as part of efforts to maintain order and prevent further incidents.

The incident highlights ongoing security challenges in parts of Balochistan, where sporadic attacks on civilians and security personnel have been reported in recent years. Authorities say such attacks aim to disrupt peace and create fear among local residents.

Police have assured that all possible steps are being taken to arrest those involved and bring them to justice. Further updates are expected as the investigation continues.
