Security forces thwart militant assault in Dhadar, terrorists killed

Published on: April 26, 2026 12:33 PM

Security forces successfully foiled a terrorist attack in the Dhadar area of Balochistan after militants attempted to strike under the cover of darkness. The attackers, identified as members of Fitna al-Hindustan, launched the assault during late night hours but encountered a swift and coordinated response from alert security personnel positioned in the region. As a result several militants were killed during the intense exchange of fire while the planned attack was completely thwarted before it could cause major damage or casualties.

According to Balochistan Interior Assistant Babar Yousafzai, security personnel responded immediately after detecting suspicious movement near their positions and confronted the militants with decisive action. During the operation several terrorists were neutralized while security teams maintained control of the area to prevent the attackers from regrouping or escaping. However one brave security official embraced martyrdom while defending the country during the confrontation, highlighting the continued sacrifices made by security forces in counterterrorism operations.

Following the clash authorities launched a comprehensive clearance and search operation across the surrounding area to ensure no remaining militants were hiding nearby. Security units carefully combed the region while maintaining heightened vigilance to prevent any further attempts by terrorist groups to target sensitive locations. Officials emphasized that the swift response of security forces prevented the militants from executing their plan and ensured that civilians and infrastructure in the region remained protected.

Meanwhile officials strongly condemned the attack and reiterated their commitment to eliminating all terrorist threats from the country. Babar Yousafzai stated that the sacrifice of the martyred soldier would always be remembered by the nation and described the bravery shown during the operation as a symbol of dedication to national security. He also warned that every conspiracy planned by Fitna al-Hindustan would continue to be defeated through coordinated security measures and intelligence efforts.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the security personnel who embraced martyrdom while bravely resisting the militants and prayed for patience for the bereaved family. He also reaffirmed the government’s firm resolve to eradicate terrorism from Pakistan through stronger security operations and national unity. In addition Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised police and Counter Terrorism Department personnel for their courageous and professional response that led to the killing of multiple militants.

The latest incident once again highlights the persistent security challenges faced in parts of Balochistan where militants continue to attempt attacks against state institutions. Nevertheless officials stressed that security forces remain fully prepared to counter such threats and protect the country’s stability. Authorities also assured that intelligence coordination and security vigilance would remain strengthened to prevent future attacks and dismantle militant networks operating in the region.
