Israeli military operations have reportedly continued in southern Lebanon despite an existing ceasefire, with local media claiming that several residential areas were targeted in recent days.

According to Lebanese reports, air and drone strikes hit multiple towns, including areas in Bint Jbeil district and Tyre. In the town of Qlaileh, a drone strike allegedly resulted in the death of one civilian and left several others injured. Additional strikes were reported at entry points to the town of Kafra, where infrastructure damage was also noted.

Local sources claimed that some residential buildings were destroyed using explosive materials, raising concerns over civilian safety and the impact on already fragile communities in the region. Emergency teams were reportedly deployed to affected areas to assist the injured and assess damage.
On the other hand, Israeli authorities have stated that their forces targeted more than 50 مواقع linked to Hezbollah in recent days. These operations, they say, are part of ongoing efforts to counter security threats along the border.
The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health has reported that, as of April 26, more than 2,500 people have been killed and over 7,000 injured in the broader conflict. However, independent verification of specific incidents remains limited due to restricted access in conflict zones.
Reports also suggest that Hezbollah has continued retaliatory actions, including drone attacks targeting Israeli forces during evacuation operations, contributing to escalating tensions despite ceasefire arrangements.
The situation highlights the fragility of the ceasefire, with both sides accusing each other of violations. Analysts warn that continued hostilities could further destabilise the region and increase humanitarian risks for civilians caught in the crossfire.
