Trade corridor key to regional uplift, Bilawal tells Uzbek governor

The Governor of Uzbekistan’s Navoi Region, Nurmt Tursunov, arrived at the Bilawal House on Wednesday to meet Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Along with Governor Nurmt Tursunov, the Deputy Governor of Uzbekistan’s Navoi Region, Alibek Ghaffarov, also met Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

The Uzbek delegation included Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Ali Sher Tukhtayev, and Second Secretary Roshan Jumanov.

Discussions between Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Governor Nurmt Tursunov of Navoi Region focused on regional and economic cooperation.

They also discussed possibilities for cooperation and partnerships in mineral resources and energy projects.

A trade corridor connecting Central Asia with Pakistan is vital for regional development, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said during talks with Governor Nurmt Tursunov.

Pakistan is a friendly country, and increasing opportunities for mutual cooperation will benefit the region, Governor Nurmt Tursunov said in his conversation with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Karachi.

Separately, Bilawal arrived at Jakharani House Jacabad on Wednesday to offer condolences to National Assembly member Mir Ijaz Khan Jakharani on the passing of his son, Mir Zaid Khan Jakharani.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari prays for steadfast patience for the family of Mir Zaid Khan Jakharani following his passing, the loss of a son is the greatest sorrow for any parent, adding that the death of a young son is an indescribable tragedy.

He extended heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family, stood in solidarity with them during this difficult time. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari prayed for the departed soul’s elevated ranks and strength for the family to bear the loss.
