Pakistan Navy Conducts Rescue Operation in the Arabian Sea and assists Indian and Indonesian crew members in distress. The swift response highlights humanitarian cooperation at sea. The Pakistan Navy Conducts effort shows readiness to respond to emergencies beyond national boundaries.

According to security sources, the cargo vessel MV Gautam faced a technical fault while traveling from Oman to India. As a result, the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre Mumbai contacted Pakistani authorities for immediate assistance.

In response, the Pakistan Navy acted quickly after receiving the emergency alert. Authorities dispatched a ship from the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, identified as vessel Kashmir, to carry out the rescue operation.

Upon reaching the distressed vessel, rescue teams provided essential support. They delivered food, medical aid, and technical assistance to six Indian and one Indonesian crew members onboard. This timely intervention helped stabilize the situation at sea.

Furthermore, officials emphasized that maritime safety requires regional cooperation. They noted that emergency responses often depend on quick coordination between countries. Therefore, such actions strengthen trust and humanitarian values in international waters.
