The Islamabad High Court has summoned the superintendent of Adiala Jail in a case related to meetings with Bushra Bibi. The court has directed him to appear on May 6. The court instructed the jail superintendent to issue a speaking order before the next hearing. It said the order must address the pending representation. The superintendent has been asked to appear in person at the next session. Officials have also been directed to submit their response.

Notices have been issued to the jail superintendent and the Inspector General of Prisons Punjab. The court has sought written replies from both authorities. The order was issued by Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir. The hearing relates to a petition filed by Bushra Bibi’s daughter.
The petition requested regular family visits and access to a personal physician. It also sought provision of clothing and essential items. The lawyer argued that earlier representations were not decided. The court noted that procedural requirements must be followed.
