Veteran actor Atiqa Odho recently praised the exceptional talent of Pakistani stars Sajal Aly and Kinza Hashmi during a candid interview.
Speaking about their performances, she said both actors possess rare emotional depth and a commanding screen presence that makes them stand out whenever they appear on screen. Expressing her admiration for their craft, Atiqa highlighted their ability to convey sorrow and emotion through their eyes with remarkable intensity. “There is something in their eyes, in their expressions, that I would call magic,” she said. She noted that whenever the camera focuses on them, their expressions shift distinctly, giving them a unique on-screen appeal.
Atiqa also described their demeanour and appearance as classic and graceful.
The veteran actor further praised their comic timing and versatility, saying they perform equally well in light-hearted scenes and comedy, with their humour landing naturally and effectively.
According to Atiqa, both actors also demonstrate a strong understanding of character development, knowing when to heighten expressions and dialogue delivery and when to restrain their performances for greater emotional impact.
