Eidul Azha celebrations continue nationwide on final festive day

Published on: May 29, 2026 5:46 PM

Eidul Azha celebrations continue across Pakistan as citizens observe the third and final day of festivities with religious devotion, family gatherings, and traditional meals. People in major cities remain engaged in sacrificial rituals while also enjoying social visits, recreational outings, and continued expressions of joy associated with the holy occasion.

Throughout the country, individuals and families continue performing animal sacrifices as part of the Sunnah of Prophet Ibrahim, keeping religious traditions alive on the final day of Eid. Authorities and local communities have ensured arrangements for cleanliness and facilitation, allowing people to complete rituals smoothly while maintaining public order in urban and rural areas.

Moreover, families have organized gatherings and invited relatives and friends to share traditional meals featuring dishes such as biryani, kebabs, tikka, mutton karahi, and qorma. These social interactions have strengthened family bonds, while households remain busy hosting guests and preparing food for continued Eid celebrations across neighborhoods.

In addition, many citizens who completed their sacrificial duties earlier have focused on hospitality, spending time with loved ones and visiting relatives across different cities. Some families have also hired professional chefs and barbecue experts to enhance Eid meals, reflecting growing interest in outdoor-style dining and festive culinary experiences.

Meanwhile, large numbers of families, including children and elders, are planning recreational outings to parks, zoos, and other entertainment spots as the holiday continues. Public parks in major cities are expected to witness heavy footfall as citizens enjoy the final hours of Eid holidays with friends and family in relaxed environments.

Furthermore, authorities anticipate increased activity at leisure destinations as Eidul Azha festivities gradually wind down across the country. Despite the approaching end of the holiday period, the spirit of celebration remains strong, with people continuing to enjoy traditional food, social gatherings, and recreational activities before returning to routine life.
