Anti-State Material Recovered from Shop of Wanted JAAC Leader Shaukat Nawaz Mir

MUZAFFARABAD: Authorities in Muzaffarabad conducted a joint operation at a shop belonging to Shaukat Nawaz Mir, a core committee member of the Jammu Kashmir Joint Awami Action Committee (JAAC). The operation was carried out by district administration and police. Officials said the raid targeted a wanted individual. The incident has triggered a formal investigation into the recovered material.

During the search, officials claimed they recovered material described as anti-state and inflammatory. The items were taken into police custody for further examination. Moreover, authorities stated that legal proceedings have been initiated in the case. The raid was conducted as part of ongoing enforcement actions in the region.

Law enforcement sources said the operation was carried out on credible information. They added that the search was conducted thoroughly at the shop premises. In addition, security personnel ensured the area remained under control during the raid. Therefore, no major disruption was reported during the operation.

Meanwhile, investigators are reviewing the recovered material to determine its nature and intent. Relevant intelligence agencies have also been involved in the probe. Furthermore, officials are examining possible links and motivations behind the case. The investigation is expected to continue in the coming days.
