Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday commended the successful foiling of a terrorist attack on a Pakistan Rangers camp in Karachi and paid tribute to the security forces for their swift and professional response.
In a statement, the chief minister saluted the martyrs who laid down their lives during the operation and expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to their bereaved families. She also prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the operation.
CM Maryam Nawaz said the entire nation stood united for the complete eradication of terrorism and reaffirmed its unwavering support for the security forces in their fight against the menace.
Moreover, Maryam Nawaz on Sunday expressed heartfelt sympathy and solidarity with the victims of the earthquake that struck Musakhel district of Balochistan. In her message, the chief minister prayed for the early recovery of those injured in the earthquake in the Kangri area and for the swift rehabilitation of the affected people. She also expressed the hope that the relief and rehabilitation efforts would help restore normal life in the quake-hit region at the earliest.
