
A 15-year-old Palestinian boy was killed after being shot by Israeli forces during a military operation in the occupied West Bank, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. The incident took place in the Umm al-Sharayet area of al-Bireh.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health identified the victim as Amir Ahmad Jawad Jaber. Officials said the teenager was shot in the head and chest and later died from his injuries.
According to international media reports, the shooting occurred during an Israeli military raid in al-Bireh, located in the occupied West Bank. The Israeli military did not immediately issue an official statement regarding the incident.
Reports say violence in the occupied West Bank has increased significantly since the start of the Gaza war in October 2023. Since then, at least 1,085 Palestinians, including civilians and members of armed groups, have been killed by Israeli forces or Israeli settlers.
According to available figures, 71 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank during 2026 alone, highlighting the continued tensions and security challenges across the territory.
