Pakistani vlogger explores China’s AI breakthroughs

Published on: July 20, 2026 7:55 AM

As the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) unfolds from July 17 to 20 in Shanghai, a Pakistani vlogger with over 400,000 followers across Chinese and international platforms is capturing the attention of netizens by showcasing China’s latest AI breakthroughs.

Themed “Intelligent Partners, Co-creating the Future,” this year’s WAIC comes at a critical moment as a new wave of intelligent technology sweeps the globe.

The event is a massive showcase of innovation, featuring over 1,100 exhibitors, more than 3,000 products on display, and over 300 global premieres.

In his teaser video, Ali highlights two blockbuster products, starting with Huawei’s new Atlas 950 SuperPoD – the largest supernode system ever unveiled in the industry.

Built with cutting-edge interconnection technology, this powerhouse can handle massive computing tasks at unprecedented speed and scale.

The system won the SAIL Award, the top honor at WAIC and one of the most prestigious global accolades in the AI industry, CEN reported.

Another breakthrough that caught his eye is a new AI agent capable of automating complete workflows. Ali remarked in an interview that, “Baidu Dazi impresses me a lot because it makes your office life much easier.” Since its launch, Baidu Dazi has seen a 20-fold increase in daily queries, making it the fastest-growing general-purpose AI agent currently available. Users simply describe their goals in natural language, and agents understand the requirements, break down tasks, invoke tools, complete complex jobs across applications and files, and deliver ready-to-use results.

The exhibition floor is a dizzying showcase of smart features in new energy vehicles and cutting-edge AI robots. Ali noted that these intelligent tools could truly transform daily life in Pakistan from streamlining office work to unlocking new opportunities across industries.

Beyond the technological showcase, a major diplomatic milestone unfolded during the conference. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar attended the event and signed the agreement to establish the World Artificial Intelligence Cooperation Organization (WAICO), making Pakistan one of the 29 founding member states.
