Sindh Senior Minister and Provincial Minister for Information, Transport and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon has said that the Muslim League (N) is a party with a charitable mandate, Talks about elections and votes do not sound good from their mouth, Mian Nawaz Sharif, tell us when to respect the vote?
Reacting to the statement of Muslim League President Mian Nawaz Sharif, Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon addressed the Nawaz Sharif and said that Nawaz Sharif Sb politics will continue, do not make the land and people of Sindh and Kashmir a subject of ridicule and humor, political differences have their place, but ridicule of any province, city or area is not acceptable under any circumstances. This behavior of the former Prime Minister is not only frivolous but also ridiculous.
He said that Nawaz Sharif’s statement has hurt the sentiments of millions of Pakistanis, the people of Kashmir and Sindh, using the name of any city or district in a joking or comparative manner in a political speech is a conscious backwardness, Kashmir is a symbol of Pakistan’s national struggle, every city of Sindh is equally respected and dear.
Sharjeel Inam Memon said that although Nawaz Sharif also said in his speech that “there should be no bitterness”, his own words are causing political bitterness and unnecessary division, national leaders should avoid such statements that create a sense of deprivation or discrimination among the people of different regions.
He added that Pakistan is not about political point scoring but requires national unity, mutual respect and serious political attitudes, the people of Sindh and Kashmir are proud of their land and identity and no one has the right to subject them to political ridicule.
He said that politics based on division and ridicule causes political harm rather than national interest.
