Gold prices in Pakistan increased on Saturday, tracking gains in the international market. The price of one tola of gold rose by Rs300 to reach Rs427,736, according to the latest market rates.

The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association said 10 grams of gold increased by Rs257. As a result, the price of 10-gram gold reached Rs366,714.

The latest increase followed a sharp decline on Friday, when the price of one tola fell by Rs4,600. However, Saturday’s recovery reflected an improvement in global gold prices.

In the international market, gold gained $3 to reach $4,053 per ounce, including a premium of $20. Additionally, the movement in global prices influenced the local bullion market.

Gold prices in Pakistan generally move in line with international trends and currency fluctuations. Therefore, changes in global bullion markets often affect domestic trading rates.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction during Saturday’s trading session. The price of silver declined by Rs12 to settle at Rs6,297 per tola.

Market participants will continue monitoring international bullion prices and economic developments for further direction. Future movements in local gold prices are expected to remain linked to global market trends.
