Driver’s negligence claims two lives, injures several other near Multan

MULTAN: A traffic incident on Friday night claimed two lives and injured several near Multan’s Babar Chowk.

According to eyewitnesses the crash occurred when the driver of a passenger bus missed a speed breaker, causing the bus to flip over.

The bus was travelling to Lahore and had overturned on a road near Multan.

According to rescue officials, the incident resulted in the death of two, while other 20 passengers sustained injuries.

Sixteen of the injured people were shifted to Nishtar Hospital while the rest received medical attention on spot.

According to the authorities all of the passengers were safely removed from the bus, while one of the deceased was identified as a resident of Daulat Gate area in Multan.
