The finale of “Game of Thrones” will be bloodier, says Sophie Turner

Published on: June 30, 2018 12:26 PM

Sophie Turner has promised “more death and  emotional torture” in the last season of the TV show series Game of Thrones. Sopheir Turner plays the role Sansa Stark in the series and during an interview with Gold Derby she said that the finale will be bloodier.

“It’s Game Of Thrones so it is going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before,” said Sophie.

The story of the show revolves around claiming the iron throne. It is based on George R R Martin’s novels and has an exiting story line which keeps the viewers hooked.

While speaking about the finale of the series, she said, “I can tell you that there’s definitely a coming together of people to fight the impending doom. There’s a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right.”

Turner unveiled that her character in the series will perfectly embrace the role of a fighter, “I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don’t think other people really saw,” she admits. “I always had the feeling that she was learning and adapting and at some point or another it was going to manifest itself somehow.”

She further added, “And she manifested it into being a warrior. It felt really satisfying when it happened, and I’m really happy where this story-line for her has ended up.”

The final season will be broadcasted next year.
