Accountability process of powerful has begun in Pakistan: Fawad Chaudhry

Published on: July 6, 2018 3:08 PM

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry on Friday said that he is certain that the verdict on Avenfield reference will be just.

Fawad Chaudhry while talking to media said that PTI was looking forward to see Nawaz being punished for his crimes.  He added that the verdict will be just as the Sharifs got a chance to defend themselves.

While referring to accusations against Nawaz pertaining to money laundering, Fawad asserted that it will a positive sign that the country’s money is brought back.

He added that the accountability process of powerful people in Pakistan has begun.

Accountability court is expected to announce verdict against Nawaz and family in Avenfield reference today.

Earlier on July 3 the court had reserved its verdict.

Nawaz had pled the court to delay the verdicts announcement, however, the court dismissed Sharif’s plea during the hearing today.
