Pakistan thrash Zimbabwe by 201 runs

Pakistan on Friday thrashed Zimbabwe by 201 runs after bowling the hosts out for a small total of 107 runs.

Shadab Khan was the pick of the bowlers as he sent 4 Zimbabwean batsmen back to the pavilion, while Faheem Ashraf also took 2 wickets.

Earlier in the first innings, Pakistani openers Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman lead the country to an impressive total of 308 against Zimbabwe in the first ODI of a 5-match series between the two teams.

Opener Imam-ul-Haq scored a convincing 128 of 134 balls, while Fakhar Zaman scored a 60 of 70 balls before they were sent back to the pavilion.

Middle order batsman Asif Ali scored a blistering 46 of 25 to take Pakistan beyond the 300 mark.

Earlier this week, Pakistan defeated Australia by six-wickets in the final of the T20 tri-series between Pakistan, Australia and Zimbabwe.
