Imam-ul-Haq gets hit real bad by a bouncer

Published on: November 9, 2018 9:52 PM

After a solid opening stand between Imam-ul-Haq and Fakhar Zaman, something really bad happened for Pakistan. Ferguson bowled a speedy bouncer to Imam that hit straight on his helmet and then his shoulder. Imam instantly fell down on the ground and was unconscious for few second.

Scenes became even worst when Fakhar was trying to talk to him but he was not responding at all. Within a few minutes the doctors were called in the ground for some instant help.

Just when the things were looking under control, Imam again felt dizzy and with the help of two people he was taken off the ground. Few clips of him were played on TV when he was sitting unconsciously in the dressing room and the doctors were trying to talk to him, but he did not respond.

Ambulance was called instantly and he is being shifted to hospital instantly. Many instances in the past has been seen when these kind of deliveries have costed a lot to the batsman. Players like Mark Boucher, Brian Lara and Gary Kirsten have been hit which turned into the downfall of their careers. And no one can forget the tragic death of Phillip Hughes because of a ball hitting him on his neck. Such accidents are not good for the game of cricket.

The situation of Imam-ul-Haq looks no good. The official reports of his tests will be out soon. Let’s all hope for his quick recovery.
