Heidi Klum turns into Medusa after 10-hour Halloween transformation

Heidi Klum shares how long it took to recreate Medusa for Halloween
LOS ANGELES – Supermodel Heidi Klum stunned fans by transforming into Medusa for her 2025 Halloween bash — a look that took nearly 10 hours to complete.

Klum, known for her elaborate Halloween costumes, appeared alongside her husband, Tom Kaulitz, who dressed as a warrior turned to stone. “Everything is hand-painted,” Klum told E! News. “About 15 people have been working on this, and I think they did a fantastic job.”

The 51-year-old model revealed that the idea had been on her mind for years. “I’ve seen many Medusas, and I thought, one day I’m going to try my own,” she said, describing her vision of moving snakes, scary teeth, and a rattlesnake-like body.

Kaulitz admitted that their matching costumes can be tricky to plan each year. The couple has previously appeared as Shrek and Fiona, a worm and a fisherman, and identical ET aliens.

Ahead of the party, Klum shared behind-the-scenes clips from her makeup session, teasing fans with what she promised would be her “most extreme and ugliest” look yet. “I’m going to be very ugly because I always try to do something different,” she said in an interview with People.
