Allies express full confidence in CM Bugti

QUETTA – Parliamentary leaders of the coalition parties, provincial lawmakers, and the governor on Friday expressed complete confidence in the leadership of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, reaffirming strong support for the provincial government. The show of unity came during a joint meeting chaired by Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and CM Bugti.

The meeting reviewed the overall political landscape, the province’s security situation, and the progress of ongoing development projects. Officials said coalition partners praised the performance of the Bugti-led government and agreed that sustained cooperation was vital for stability and effective governance.

Participants also expressed satisfaction over recent measures taken to strengthen peace and law and order across Balochistan. They discussed actionable steps for further improvement and stressed the need to maintain momentum in security efforts. Leaders emphasised the importance of deep coordination among all allied parties to address emerging challenges.

The coalition agreed that speeding up development projects, ensuring transparent governance, and adopting people-focused policies required a unified and well-coordinated strategy. It was decided that all welfare and development initiatives would be aligned with public needs and executed through practical, collaborative planning to ensure that benefits reach citizens directly.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Bugti highlighted that political unity and parliamentary coordination were essential for securing Balochistan’s progress. “All allies are united for the peace and development of Balochistan — this is our real strength,” he said, reiterating the government’s commitment to public welfare.

Governor Mandokhail said the consensus among allied parties on development and peace reflected a healthy political environment in the province. The meeting concluded with a unanimous commitment to continue joint efforts for sustainable peace, welfare-oriented governance, and timely completion of development programmes across Balochistan.

The meeting was attended by Speaker Abdul Khaliq Achakzai, Deputy Speaker Ghazala Gola, PML-N leader Mir Saleem Khan Khosa, PPP provincial president Sardar Umar Gorgage, BAP leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, Mir Sadiq Sanjrani, and ANP’s Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai.
