Sohail Afridi pledges high-tech security against terrorists

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi vowed to defeat terrorism and restore peace across the province. He praised the police and civil officers for their courage and dedication despite limited resources. Afridi said the nation honors their sacrifices in fighting terrorism over the past 21 years.

He announced that the police will receive bulletproof vehicles, modern weapons, and anti-drone systems. Moreover, emergency technology upgrades are underway to strengthen operations. Afridi emphasized that lack of resources will not hinder security efforts and vowed success through faith, courage, and determination.

Afridi stressed that civil officers will work without political interference but must deliver results. He warned that corruption will not be tolerated and performance will be measured with strict indicators. The chief minister highlighted that accountability and efficiency are crucial for achieving law and order.

He also pointed out that failures in delivering justice create systemic problems. Afridi said government decisions will prioritize public relief, following the vision of PTI’s founder. He underlined that fair governance and transparency are key to public trust and peace.

Afridi concluded that coordinated efforts between police and civil administration will secure the province. He promised lasting peace and safety for citizens through dedication, advanced technology, and strict accountability measures.
