FDA Reviews Deaths Possibly Connected to Covid Vaccines

Published on: December 10, 2025 11:52 AM

Deaths Possibly to Covid Vaccines

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is investigating deaths potentially linked to Covid-19 vaccines. A spokesperson for Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. confirmed the probe on Tuesday. The investigation covers multiple age groups, according to Andrew Nixon. The review follows Kennedy’s recent appointment and broader changes in US vaccine policy.

The investigation initially focused on possible deaths among children. Reports indicate the scope has expanded amid growing public attention. A leaked internal memo in late November fueled controversy. The memo, attributed to a senior FDA official, claimed vaccines were linked to at least 10 infant deaths. No evidence was provided to support this claim.

Bloomberg and the Washington Post previously reported on the FDA’s review. Nixon declined to provide details on methods, data, or the investigation timeline. Health experts expressed concern over the lack of transparency. They emphasized the importance of evidence-based findings. The investigation has sparked debate among medical professionals nationwide.

Kennedy’s appointment has raised alarm in the medical community. Experts note that he has previously promoted misinformation about Covid vaccines. In 2023, he called the vaccines deadly without scientific evidence. He also made claims that the virus targeted certain ethnic groups. These assertions have been widely criticized by health authorities.

The safety and efficacy of Covid vaccines are well-documented globally. Rare severe side effects exist but do not outweigh overall benefits. Health authorities emphasize that vaccines protect millions of people worldwide. Experts argue that ongoing misinformation could reduce public trust in vaccination programs.

The FDA’s investigation coincides with broader policy changes under Kennedy’s leadership. The department is reviewing vaccine protocols and safety monitoring procedures. Observers worry these changes may politicize public health agencies. Medical professionals stress that evidence-based approaches must guide policy decisions.

Authorities have urged calm while the review proceeds. They emphasize the importance of verified scientific data. The FDA has committed to completing a thorough investigation. Meanwhile, public health officials continue to recommend Covid vaccination for eligible groups. The outcome of the probe could influence future vaccine policies in the US.
