DG ISPR meets COMSATS students on national security

The Director General of ISPR attended a special session with faculty and students at COMSATS University Islamabad, discussing Pakistan’s internal security, misinformation, disinformation, and other key national issues. During the session, DG ISPR answered participants’ questions in detail, while students and faculty expressed appreciation for the sacrifices of Pakistan Armed Forces.

Participants highlighted that spreading unverified information can harm national interests and praised awareness sessions as an effective tool to counter misinformation and disinformation. DG ISPR also encouraged youth, calling them the future of Pakistan, and emphasized their vital role in national stability and development.

The session underscored the need for every citizen to contribute to Pakistan’s security, alongside the military, and stressed inter-agency coordination to eliminate terrorism completely. Attendees appreciated the informative discussion on threats like extremist groups and measures to maintain peace.

Faculty and students emphasized the importance of continuing such awareness programs to educate and empower youth, highlighting their critical role in Pakistan’s progress and stability.
